Tomorrow was supposed to be opening day for Big Spud & Saucy Dogs.
To say we’re heartbroken is an understatement.
Over the past several months, we poured our time, energy, finances, and excitement into bringing this dream to Crescent Bar. Unfortunately, due to major delays and our trailer build not being completed as promised, we are unable to open tomorrow as planned.
We know many of you were excited and following along with us, and we feel you deserve transparency about why things suddenly went quiet. At this time, the build remains incomplete, and we are currently working through the difficult process of determining our next steps moving forward.
This has been financially and emotionally devastating for us, especially after believing we were on track to open for the season. Even so, we have not given up on the dream of bringing Big Spud & Saucy Dogs to life.
We truly appreciate every person who shared our posts, encouraged us, talked with us about the menu, or simply believed in what we were trying to create. Your support has meant more than you know.
Please wish us luck as we search for a new builder and hopefully find a way to recover from this setback and bring this dream to life within the next couple of years. 💙
