We usually have several of their amazing roasts and flavors brewing, so whether you're starting your morning or ending your meal, there's always something worth sipping.

We just wanted to put out a little reminder for our local friends.
Most of you already know this, but for those who don't and just want to swing by the shop to grab a bag or two, as much as we love seeing you, we'd hate for you to make the drive only to find out we had to close a little earlier than expected.
Iron Bean is a little different than your typical coffee shop. We're primarily an online business and a working coffee roastery, not a traditional retail shop with set store hours. Even so, we've always tried to make it as convenient as possible for our local customers to stop in and pick up fresh coffee.
That said, there are times when our hours have to change. During extreme summer heat, our metal building can get incredibly hot. Even with the air conditioning running, once the roasters are going, sometimes the AC just can't keep up. The same goes for severe winter weather or the occasional family emergency. When those things happen, we may have to close a little early or close for the day.
We know our Google hours aren't always updated as quickly as they should be during changing conditions, and that's on us. So if you're planning on making a special trip, please don't hesitate to call or text us at 518-641-9918.
If we don't answer right away, we're probably roasting and didn't hear the phone over the equipment. Leave us a voicemail or send us a text, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
We're also working on making pickups even easier by adding a secure pickup locker right outside our door. If you place an order online and choose local pickup, just let us know if you'll be stopping by after we're closed. We'll make sure your order is waiting safely in the locker before we head home, so you can pick it up whenever it's convenient.
If you're looking for Iron Bean Coffee during regular retail hours, you can also find select Iron Bean roasts locally at Bards Coffee in Perrysburg and Levy & Lilacs in Maumee. They both carry some of our coffee, so they're another great option when you need your Iron Bean fix. Their coffee bar has its own hours, so we recommend checking their pages before heading over.
Also, keep an eye out for another post as we get closer to September. We'll be sharing the dates we'll be closed while we celebrate Siera and Brandon's wedding, so everyone has plenty of notice before making the trip or placing an online order.
We appreciate every one of you and can't thank you enough for supporting our little roastery. Thank you for understanding that while we may not be a traditional coffee shop, we'll always do our best to make sure getting your fresh Iron Bean coffee is as easy and convenient as possible.
