Welcome (or welcome back) to Mother Anna’s!
What started in 1932 on Hanover Street in Boston’s historic North End has grown into a four-generation tradition of family recipes, hospitality, and authentic Italian cuisine. Founded by Anna Travaglione, Mother Anna’s quickly became a neighborhood favorite, with recipes and traditions passed down through the Caparella family for decades.
In July 2014, Alan Caparella brought those same family recipes and North End traditions to Pembroke, creating a place where guests could experience a true “Taste of the North End” right here on the South Shore. Now, both Alan and his wife, Nicole Caparella, dedicate their time, effort, and love towards this restaurant. Showing it the honor and respect we believe it deserves.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of celebrating countless family dinners, special occasions, first dates, reunions, and everyday moments with all of you. We are incredibly proud to be a successful small-town restaurant and grateful for the support that has helped bring us this far.
Whether you’ve been dining with us since day one or are just discovering us, thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to continue serving the South Shore and creating memories for years to come.
We’re excited to see what’s next for Mother Anna’s! ❤️🍝🇮🇹
