Hey ya’ll! We’ve been a little quiet on here lately. The coffee shop/pizzeria hired the owner as their full-time dough roller. He went on some spiritual rant about becoming one with the crusts. Odd duck, that guy.

Anyway, here we are again with another Sunday holiday. This Father’s Day we will be serving only breakfast until 11AM, but you can get breakfast until 2PM. We’re not that cruel. We will start serving a limited lunch menu promptly at 11AM.

Now that the logistics are out of the way, here’s a fun announcement.

Hemi’s will now start serving weekend specialty pancakes! I know, somehow we’ve made it this far without serving specialty pancakes. Frankly, it’s embarrassing and downright stupid.

Stop in this Saturday and Sunday and let us make up for lost time!

Wot ‘n tarnation??? A new burger at Hemi’s? You’re darn tootin’!

This week only we’ve got a Cowboy Burger!

Topped with melted cheese, bacon, onion rings, and bbq sauce, these burgers are so savory they ought to be outlawed! And that’s a fact, Texas Jack!

So saddle up and make your way down that dusty trail (Minton Drive) to Hemi’s Cafe! Kick open those saloon doors and stake your claim before they ride off into the sunset!

If you need me I’ll be installing some hitching posts in front of the building!

DISCLAIMER: We don’t actually have saloon doors. They’re glass pull doors so we don’t recommend kicking them unless you really feel the need to just kick a door.

We will be closed Monday June 8th and Tuesday June 9th this week for more kitchen repairs. Yes, I know. We close for a lot of renovations and nothing looks different in the dining room yet, we will have an update on that within the next week. Bear with us, I promise these closures will be well worth it in the long run!

I hate to hype this place. I’m not a fan of the owner, he’s a bit much for me. But I can’t deny their pizzas are top notch. So many of my customers come in and tell me how it’s some of the best pizza this whole community has had in a long time. I suppose I can put my ego aside and give them credit where it’s due.

Stop in at Broadway Coffee House and Pizzeria! I hear they’re opening up an evening shift very soon. Of course I don’t want the competition, but I’m just glad I’ll be able to get one of these pizzas in the evening!

I’ve got 25 lbs of spicy chicken breading we already opened and put in our container. Came in wrong on the order. If anyone wants it you can come pick it up. Must bring your own container but we’ll help you fill it!

We will be open our regular Sunday hours tomorrow for Mother’s Day. 7AM-2PM

Just like the past two years, we’ll be serving breakfast from 7AM–2PM along with a limited lunch menu available from 11AM–2PM.

Please note: lunch items will not be available until 11AM.

It’s going to be very busy, and we are still getting used to our new POS system. All carry out orders will be cash only. Thank you for understanding!

This weekend we will be only taking cash for phone carry out orders. We’re working to resolve some issues with our new POS. Thank you everyone for being so understanding! We will be back to normal soon. Stay tuned for a Mother’s Day update later tonight!

We will be closed this Tuesday May 5th for ductwork in our kitchen. Preparing for the inevitable miserable summer. I figured I would show my kitchen crew a little mercy this year. We are sorry for any last minute inconvenience.

I will say a little birdie told me Broadway Coffee House in Steeleville will be open 7AM-2PM serving coffee and sandwiches. By little birdie I mean that little pizza gremlin that’s always rolling dough late at night over there. Personally I could do without him.

Anyway I’ve been following their page for a while and I guess they have some pizzas they’re serving up from 10:30AM-2PM. I’ve heard they’re pretty good but I don’t want to give my competition too much praise.
