We’re looking for a restaurant manager to join our crew at Hemi’s.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading by example, staying organized, and helping a crew run smoothly day to day.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Takes pride in a clean, well-run kitchen
• Communicates well with both kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Can keep things on track during busy shifts
• Isn’t afraid to jump in and help wherever needed
Responsibilities include:
• Leading shifts and supporting the team
• Making sure prep, cleanliness, and organization stay on point
• Helping create a positive, productive work environment (this isn’t just corporate mumbo jumbo, I genuinely mean this and it’s very important)
Hours will include a mix of mornings, evenings, and weekends.
If you’re dependable, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a crew that cares about doing things right, we’d love to hear from you.
Message us or stop in to apply.
Okay, now that the professional job posting is out of the way, I can explain. After a couple months of owning the coffee shop in Steeleville, we have been incredibly blessed with our crew over there. Having a manager take a lot of our day to day responsibilities is very new to Bri and I. Giving up responsibility is something that initially gave us a lot of guilt and uncertainty. It turns out the more responsibility we delegate, the more responsibilities we have been able to uncover higher up as owners. We have more time and clarity to make better decisions to improve both businesses.
We are working very hard to improve Hemi’s and will continue to make it a place the community is proud to call its own. I truly believe a manager will help us get to that next level. This position is incredibly important to us. If you’re not serious, please do not apply. You’ll be wasting your time and mine. This restaurant is my pride and joy and I will only hire someone if I really think they can meet the expectations.
