🚒 The Fayette County Firemen’s Convention is underway! Congratulations to the Perry Volunteer Fire Department on celebrating 100 years of service to our community. Be sure to stop out and support all of our local firefighters this weekend! The Big Barn has supported the fire department for many years and will continue to do so. We are so grateful for all of them!

If you’re in the area, stop by the Big Barn before heading to the festivities. We have deli meat and cheeses back in stock, fresh steaks and ground beef from Thoma Meats, and Hot Pepper Cheese on sale. 🧀

Do not forget we also offer meat & cheese trays, sandwich rings, and fruit trays for your gatherings! 🍓🍇🍉

We want to thank everyone for the incredible support you’ve shown since our reopening. We know we’re still missing some of your favorite products, and we appreciate your patience as we continue rebuilding our inventory.

A few quick updates:
• We expect to be accepting credit and debit cards again by the end of next week.
• Unfortunately, we will not have Fayette County Fair tickets this year because we reopened after the ticket sales deadline.

We’re excited to officially reopen the Big Barn Country Store & Deli tomorrow and can’t wait to welcome everyone back!

Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 9 AM–6 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 9 AM–5 PM
Closed on Wednesdays

🇺🇸Fourth of July Hours: 9 AM–3 PM ❤️

We ask that you bear with us as we continue restocking many of the products you’ve loved over the years. We’re adding new items every week and are excited to offer meats from Cheplic’s, fresh sourdough bread from Don’t Get Me Started, and more local products coming soon! If there are specific products you have loved and cannot find, please message the store page or let one of our employees know!

***We are cash only for now. There is an ATM available in the store, but we cannot accept checks, EBT, debit, or credit cards at this time. We hope to have our credit card system up and running by the end of July or early August ***

🎉 BIG BARN COUNTRY STORE & DELI GRAND REOPENING! 🎉

Hi everyone this is Jaimie Craig. We are excited to announce that we will be reopening on July 2, 2026 after a brief closure while working through the legal matters following the passing of my dad, James Bohatch, in April.

Since 1955, we have been proud to serve our community, and we are incredibly grateful for the support, patience, kindness, and loyalty you’ve shown our family during this difficult time.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back through our doors and continuing the tradition of service that has been at the heart of our business for over 70 years and three generations.

We will be closed Wednesdays until further notice, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am-6pm. Weekends 9am-5pm.

You’ll see some familiar faces, some new faces, new products, familiar products and a few updates around the store as we continue working to make the Big Barn an even better place for our customers while honoring the legacy my Dad built.

🌶️ Our friend Uncles Happy Jalapeño will also be back outside serving some of the best Mexican food around! 🌮

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our story. We are excited to see everyone again, serve our wonderful community, and continue what Dad spent his life building for many years to come.

We are excited to announce that we will soon be offering a small consignment area in our old wine room featuring local handmade and specialty items!

We are currently looking for vendors with products such as:
• Handmade soaps & lotions
• Candles
• Crafts & home décor
• Specialty food items
• Seasonal items
• Handmade gifts & other unique products

At this time, we are looking for clean, well-packaged, high-quality items that fit the cozy country/store atmosphere we are working to maintain.

Consignment spots will be limited, and preference will be given to local small businesses and handmade products. Vendors are responsible for keeping products stocked and labeled with pricing/business information.

Our standard consignment split will typically be 70/30, with the vendor keeping 70% and the store receiving 30%. Terms may vary slightly depending on product type and space requirements.

We are located right along Route 51 with a high volume of traffic and a loyal customer base that has supported our store for many years, making this a great opportunity for local small businesses to gain exposure within the community.
