One of my favorite things about being in the industry I am is meeting new faces and throughout the years them becoming part of our family. And then their kids and grandkids become a part of us as well. They become family with other regulars. Always a friendly conversation, smiles, love and laughter.
I started meeting customers when I was 14, 15, 16 years old. I’m now 39 (shh still trying to pull off being 29 😉) . That’s at least 23-25 years ago! They have seen me at my highest and seen me at my lowest. They have seen my successes and they have seen me fail. They have been through some of best times and the worst times for my family but every step of the way they have supported and encouraged us. They will all forever and always hold a special place in our hearts.
My least favorite thing about this industry is losing those who have become our family. It’s never an easy loss when you are used to seeing their faces not only once a day but sometimes twice a day.
Today we are celebrating two people who are family but are no longer with us—Paul and Faye Archambault. Paul and Faye married June 24, 1967. Their marriage was something they were proud of and cherished deeply. Their love for one another was admirable.
In remembrance of Paul and Faye and their loving hearts and their wedding anniversary we will be serving cupcakes today, June 24th. Make sure to stop in and enjoy a sweet treat with us.
