Hey folks! There is no truth to the rumor that we are moving back into the same building at 101 Fourth St. Somehow, Petaluma Foodies (which we don’t follow) got this idea. We’re still looking for the right spot and do plan on reopening. Stay tuned.

We’re still looking! Some days we’re optimistic because we’re close to a deal but the right one hasn’t come along yet. We’re missing our fish tacos too! Be well!

Hey folks! We're still looking for a location. So many locations that we have looked at are just not right for one reason or another. The perfect spot will come along. A lot of the spots we've looked at are often in need of code upgrades that make it economically impossible to make a living. Have you noticed how quickly McDonalds on McDowell was torn down and rebuilt? Lot's of investment and prior planning and knowing the "Little guys" can't compete. I would encourage you all to support your independent restaurants or Petaluma will look very different in the future.

A Pittsburgh hot dog joint, a famous Cambridge dive bar and a vibrant Filipino restaurant in Los Angeles were among the casualties of 2020.

We have temporarily closed. We will be looking for a new location in Petaluma after taking some time off to stay healthy and relax. Keep checking back here or better yet “Follow” us for updates. Thanks for 19+ years of support.

Today could be your lucky day.

We know it's been extremely frustrating for many to place a phone order since we re-opened, and we're very sorry for this. We have one phone line and one person answering, a longer process to take credit card payment on the phone, and A LOT of callers. Why not a 2nd line? We can only have one cook, too, because it's impossible to social distance in our minuscule kitchen. Even if we could take more phone orders, food would not be ready in any reasonable time. Trust me, we can't work any harder/faster than we are, and we can't change this situation and keep ourselves safe, too. It's just one more great feature of Covid.

But the threat of rain may deter people from going out in the next few days. So if you haven't gotten thru, we hope you'll try again. We thank everyone for their perseverance and patience with us. Wednesday is our last day in business at this location.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls we have an announcement to make. We are moving! Can’t say where just yet but the time has come if you want great fish and chips. Our last day at the corner of Fourth and C Streets will be a week from tomorrow! Now is the right time for us to make the move. We’re going to miss a lot about that location including our neighbors. But I promise we won’t be going far and we will get up and running at a new location ASAP. We appreciate all your support for the last 19 1/2 years. I especially want to give a shout out to our neighbor Maureen McGuigan at the Mail Depot, Jeff Tomasini and his family and crew at Rex Hardware. These people are some of the best Petaluma has to offer. Over 200 employees have helped us over the last 19+ years. Some good, some not, some meh, and a few exceptional. What a treat to have watched some of them grow and raise their own families. One thing that has warmed our hearts, was when we made our announcement to re-open recently after closing for safety during the coronavirus pandemic was to see that over 8000 people were reached via Facebook because of comments and shares to our post. We are working on re-opening very soon (hopefully later this week) to offer phone in/drive up service. It'll be a limited menu, primarily fish & chips, as well as limited hours. Just John & Ann will be working, so we're hoping your patience won't be too limited :-) We're working out all the details of how to do this safely and efficiently, and will announce the date and menu here and on our website as soon as we're ready to roll. Looking forward to serving you again!

Dear Community,
As more information has become available in the past few days about the Covid virus, how it spreads, and how doing everything we can to "flatten the curve" of new infections now is essential, we feel that now is the time for caution and social responsibility. No one that works at Fourth and Sea is sick and we will do our best to keep it that way. Fourth and Sea will be closed for at least the next ten days to keep our staff, customers, and families as safe as possible during this uncertain time. This decision was not made lightly, but we feel it's our best course of action at this time to give our staff and customers the best opportunity to stay healthy. In our opinion, profit is not an excuse to put our staff, families, or community at risk. We will do our best to see that the employees affected will be supported throughout this crisis.
