Hey folks, Briggs here.
With all the good things going on, there’s almost always some bad. Things rarely ever work out the way you want them too, fact of life. With that being said, it saddens me to inform yall that Briggs’ BBQ will be shutting the doors. The love and support we had received from everyone who showed up was thoroughly enjoyable, I loved cooking for yall, and did my best to try and bring something to this community. With the way the economy is heading, not being able to rely on anyone, and the outrageous pricing on everything from meat to paper goods, it is just hard for us to justify staying open. We would have to raise everything a decent amount to make any of it make sense, and people are already not coming, so higher prices wouldn’t help. Ultimately we did our best to bring this community reasonably priced bbq, and just couldn’t make it.
I hope this isn’t a us closing for good, but a for right now. Maybe one day when the timing is right, prices go down, the economy outlook is better, and the community is ready for it, We will be able to make a comeback.
