Today our Southern Roots Uptown family is heartbroken as we mourn the loss of our sweet Pat.
Many of you knew and loved her, not just as part of our team, but as someone who truly made people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. Pat worked beside us and helped manage the store with the biggest smile, a servant’s heart, and a kindness that could light up a room. She loved our customers like family, and so many of you loved her right back.
Pat was the kind of person who would step in to help without being asked, encourage others when they were struggling, and give even when she had little for herself. Her presence at Southern Roots was more than a job. She helped create the warmth and love that so many people felt when they walked through our doors.
We are deeply grateful for every memory, every laugh, every conversation, and every moment we shared with her. She will forever be a part of the Southern Roots family and her impact will never be forgotten.
Please keep our family and hers in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Hug your people a little tighter today. Life is precious.
