Last week, Robert and Nick were busy making one of our most labor intensive cookies, our famous Finger Cookies. Every cookie is mixed, hand piped, baked, filled with raspberry jam, and carefully assembled by hand. It took them a combined 4 hours just to pipe the cookies for this production run.

Now let's get to some TRIVIA!

This week we had to make a double batch of our Finger cookies. Apparently, these cookies were very popular with our new French customers visiting us for their World Cup match. This cookie is very labor intense as it requires 100% handwork from beginning to end. Multiple racks of individual cookies are mixed, hand piped, and baked by Robert and Nick. After the cookies are cooled, half of them are flipped over, filled with raspberry jam, and then topped with another of the hand piped cookie. After 24 hours the cookies are delicately placed in bins for later use.
It took Nick and Robert a combined 4 hours to pipe all the unfinished cookies needed to complete our Fingers production.

It's 4th of July weekend and we just want to say.... Happy Birthday America!

Our story began in the small Sicilian town of Enna, but the realization of a dream was only made possible in the land of opportunity... The United States of America. The journey was rough and extremely challenging over the early years but as our Grandfather would say to us "No one ever said it would be easy."

Our Grandfather's love of this country was immeasurable, forever grateful of the opportunity America gave him. He passed his eternal love and gratitude for America to his children and grandchildren never once accepting anything less than total respect for the flag, the pledge, and the men and women who serve our country.

God Bless America... The land of the free and home of the brave.
