We are EIGHT! There’s always so much going on that these days sneak up on us (hence using last year’s pic, with an addition), but you get the sentiment.

It’s been a wild ride from our days on Osborn, to Covid, to renovating and moving to our current spot. We are still DIY, no investors, doing our best and learning so much along the way.

Getting to know you, customers becoming friends, our regulars, seeing your families change, being there when it’s a bad day, a good day and everything in between. Meeting your PUPS! All of it has made our little shop what it is and we wouldn’t be here without you.

Thank you for continuing to show up, for supporting us and helping us live our dream.

It’s been 5 days since our last post and the systems demand consistent attention 🫣 so this is a post, a space filler, a reminder for you.

If all you can do is go through the motions, that’s ok. If you need to rest, that’s ok. If you can do something to care for yourself or someone else today, please do. We are here until 5p 🖤

We gave our team the option and those who wanted to participate in the nationwide shutdown will be, and those who want or need to work are able to. Luckily we can run one day on a smaller crew when needed, so this was an option for us.

It’s not business as usual though, because we want to be impactful in the things we choose to do. A portion of the proceeds from all of tomorrow’s sales will be donated to .az who is doing the direct work.

If you are participating in the shutdown ✊🏽we will catch you on the other side. If you have to work or need some sustenance, we will be here 🖤
