It is a tough time for a lot of us and due to inflation, gas prices, lack of product availability, discontinuance of our containers and lack of volume in orders this will most likely be our last week at Meals by Kat for the time being.
Our containers tripled in price, then got discontinued, chicken breast is nearly $4/lb, beef is over $3/lb and the amount of orders coming in arenāt quite enough.
Due to these reasons, next Tuesday we are planning as our final day of delivery and pickup for Meals by Kat. It makes me so sad to quit this dream I had, but so many people supported me so well for so long and Iām so thankful for that!
Itās time for me to move on to the next chapter in my life, not work 6 days a week, and start my life with Colby as we are getting married in December.
I love you all and maybe someday Meals by Kat will return! And if we have enough orders this week I will continue service another week; but for now it is based week to week whether we provide meals or not.
Thank you all again for supporting me with your own hard earned money over the years! I will still be working full time at Katarinaās Cafe in Pilot Grove. And please checkout the updated menu for Tuesday pick up and delivery!
