We've been around awhile- established in1985. Kids, grandkids and others have helped keep this place thriving. We hope you'll help too- stop by before we retire!

We serve up freshly prepared soups, salads with homemade dressings, plus specialty sandwiches (like our Chicken Salad w/Caramelized Walnuts). We roast our beef and grill our chicken, additive-free. But we also have the largest variety of vegetarian items in the area. Plus basic deli sandwiches, traditional Reubens and French Dips... For salads and soups made from scratch, and more- you've got to stop by!

We are still here! And our friend will be starting to work with us in the coming months, to hopefully keep The New Deli going in the new year. Hooray! Meanwhile, our team is working hard to continue being a blessing to our loyal fans, starting with these two cool cats, ha ha ha ha…

All systems go! Thaddeus, Elijah, Tammy & Michelle (plus Koon & Nisa Monday) will keep The New Deli going while we're out of town for a few. They're a great team! Oh, and- the latest word on my gardening, posted here: https://www.thenewdeli.com/deep-thoughts-or-shallow-roots/

Public Service Announcement: The New Deli will be closed Monday, May 26, for Memorial Day! Hope everyone can enjoy some time off, get caught up with loved ones (or maybe even just chores and yardwork). Meanwhile, I was reflecting on zealousness. Enthusiasm. Character defects… I’m sharing a picture of this month in the garden- there is a pond in there somewhere, but the plants have been taking off, blooming, spreading. It’s hard sometimes to see the forest for the trees, the pond for the garden… Ya know… (More here: https://www.thenewdeli.com/health-guru-trips-face-plants/)

Celebrating Thanksgiving with family today, folks, but we will be back Monday!

Celebrating with gratitude, this past year and all the bounty. Most precious- Jesus! And our relationships thriving. But also, good health, good food, good laughs (check out my crazy fridge for that).
