School Supply Drive for CCS!
For most Chatham kids the first day of school is just over 5 weeks away! Together with Chatham County Schools and many community partners, Chatham Education Foundation is hosting a school supply drive to collect supplies for students whose families may not be able to afford them. You can purchase supplies on your own, shop our Amazon wishlist, or make a donation toward the purchase of supplies.
A list of the highest need items as well as 12+ drop-off locations across Chatham County can be found at https://www.chathameducationfoundation.org/supplies.
Drop off locations include 79 West in Mosaic, the Chatham Park YMCA, Quiltmaker Cafe, The Chatham Rabbit, Pittsboro Police Department and several others.
High need items include:
3 ring binders
Glue sticks
Expo dry erase markers
Washable markers
Composition notebooks
Pocket folders
Scissors
Tissues (box)
Disinfecting wipes
Wired headphones/earbuds (every student needs these for Chromebooks)
USB-C charging cables (Chromebook compatible)
Hand sanitizer
Supplies will be distributed to all 20 Chatham County Schools based on percentage of students with financial need.
