We wanted to take a quick second to update you all on a new reservation policy we put into place. As of today, if you book a reservation with us for a Friday or Saturday, we will require a credit card on file for a no show or 24 hour or less cancellation fee of $20 per person. Your card 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗡𝗢𝗧 be charged unless you were to not show up at all for your reservation or if you were to cancel with less than 24 hour notice. We can explain why we find it’s important to do this.
If you have ever dined with us before, you know we are a very small restaurant with limited seating. When someone makes a reservation, it takes up a table and prevents other people from reserving that table. So when people don’t show up, or hold a reservation and cancel last minute, it can be very devastating to our business as it’s important for us to fill as many of our tables as possible due to our size. The goal with this policy is not to nickel and dime our customers, but rather to hopefully only have people make reservations who truly plan on coming that evening. Also all charges are done at our discretion, so if something extraordinary were to happen to cause you to miss your reservation, we would obviously be reasonable concerning your situation.
If you are using OpenTable, they make it very easy to put your cc information in and book your reservation as soon as possible. They also take services like Apple Pay to make it even easier!
