Last night I had the pleasure of creating an intimate family dinner to celebrate their son’s graduation from Carnegie Mellon University ❤️

🧐 Did You Know?..

🌾 Kamut is a nutrient-rich grain with high concentrations of minerals. One 3.5 oz. (100g) serving provides 36% of the US RDA of magnesium, 37% of the US RDA of zinc and a whopping 14.7g of protein.

🌾Kamut is a protein powerhouse; it has 40% more protein than traditional wheat.

🌾 Kamut’s texture is slightly chewy and you can use the cooked berries with other veggies as a side dish or in soup as a substitute for noodles.

🌾 Be sure to simmer on low and at least 40-50mins.. it will still be chewy so don’t compare to other grains, when you think it needs more water.. add! It will keep absorbing water and will have you questioning if it’s done yet… cook till it’s soft enough for your preference!
