61c Cafe It's 61c, not 61 cent. Specifically Squirrel Hill. They are the very examples that your corporate coffee chains are using as their models.

Seventeen years ago, Kate Knorr and Gary Kaboly had a very simple idea — to provide a quality cup of coffee and a friendly environment in the city of Pittsburgh. While it’s safe to say that coffee culture has certainly changed in the last decade, it’s also probably just as safe to say that Kate and Gary, and cafes of a similar vein, are in a large part responsible. And in all this time, little has

changed at the 61C, well, at least in theory. Still the friendly faces, still Keith pouring your coffee in the mornings, still homemade goodies, and as always, great patio to spend a lazy evening lounging around.

TONIGHT: Spring has SPRUNG! Stop by the 61C, grab a caffeinated bevvie and a baked treat, and welcome the season with folk tunage and stories by our friend Ginger Ackley from 7PM-9PM. There is NO COVER charge, but DONATIONS OF CAT FOOD will be taken for the homeless kitties cared for by the 15104 CATS crew, so bring a can or bag of kitty grub, and swing on by!

We at the C are thrilled to announce that winter is almost a thing of the past, and we’re inviting all of you to join us in welcoming warm weather at our LIVE AT THE C series event on March 25th.

We’re ready for spring to spring, and we’re celebrating its arrival with GINGER ACKLEY and her special brand of Celtic folk songs and stories!

There is NO COVER CHARGE for this event, but we’ll be helping our friends at 15104 CATS, and we're asking attendees to bring a donation of cat food for the many homeless cats that this wonderful group helps.

We hope to see you there, friends - The caffeine and canter shall be a’flowin’!
