WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT TO ATTEND CLUB CAFE? Beginning August 2025
Coffee Shop is all ages (8AM-3PM)
Bar/Venue is Strictly 21+ (5PM-12AM)

CAN AN UNDERAGE CHILD ATTEND A SHOW AT CLUB CAFE WITH THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN? There are no exceptions.

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS? Tickets can be purchased in advance online via https://www.clubcafelive.com/upcoming-shows. Tickets can also be purchased in person during business hours. I PURCHASED TICKETS THROUGH TICKETWEB AND WANT TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE PERSON ON THE WILL CALL LIST PICKING UP THE TICKETS -OR- I PURCHASED TICKETS THROUGH TICKETWEB AND DID NOT RECEIVE THEM BEFORE THE SHOW. DOES CLUB CAFE SERVE FOOD DURING CONCERTS? Yes

IS THERE RESERVED SEATING? All shows are set up with limited seating and standing room. Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis only. No reservations are taken. CAN PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS RESERVE SEATING? Please call us at least 24 hours in advance prior to the show you are attending at 412.431.4950 and leave a message on the machine. Be sure to include your name, the show you are attending, and a return phone number. You can also email us at [email protected]

IS PHOTOGRAPHY OR AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING ALLOWED AT CLUB CAFÉ? Flash photography is never permitted for the courtesy of all those in attendance. Professional photography is only permitted if approved in advance directly by the artist(s) playing that night. In most cases cell phone cameras and simple amateur cameras are ok. Video or audio recording is not permitted. IS CLUB CAFE NON-SMOKING? Re-Entry is permitted for those who wish to step outside to smoke. I BELIEVE I LEFT/LOST AN ITEM AT CLUB CAFE OR FORGOT TO CLOSE MY TAB

In most cases if you forgot to close your tab, it will be closed with a 20% gratuity on the card you opened it with and you do not need to do anything further. If there are any issues however, feel free to contact us. WHAT IS THE PARKING SITUATION? Street Parking Is Available (Meters Are Enforced Until 6pm Monday-Thursday, Until Midnight On Fridays And Saturdays. There Is No Enforcement On Sundays). Parking Is Prohibited On E Carson Street (Between 12th And 18th) On Friday And Saturday Evenings. There Is A Lighted Parking Lot On E. Carson Street Between 12th And 13th St (Enforcement Hours Are Posted In Lot).

As much as I would love to put this artist on blast… we won’t because we are better than that.
Running an independent music venue is not for the faint of heart.
Every day, our team fights to keep Club Cafe’s doors open, our staff employed, and live music thriving in Pittsburgh.
We believe in independent artists and giving local musicians opportunities to perform, grow, and share stages with touring acts.
LET’S TALK ABOUT PROFESSIONALISM.
An inquiry is NOT a confirmed booking.
A date being discussed is NOT a confirmed booking.
An option on a calendar is NOT a confirmed show.
And advertising an unconfirmed performance doesn’t magically make it one.
After explaining this to a local musician, our team received profanity, personal insults, and a particularly unnecessary jab at Club Cafe for previously turning to our community for financial support.
A local musician mocking an independent venue for fighting to stay open. Let that sink in.
Independent venues have mortgages, payroll, insurance, utilities, production expenses, and countless other financial responsibilities.
We take chances on developing artists. We book shows even when the financial return doesn’t justify the expense. We do this because we CARE about our music community.
SUPPORTING LOCAL MUSIC IS A TWO-WAY STREET.
You cannot demand opportunities from independent venues while disrespecting the people keeping those opportunities alive.
You cannot expect professionalism while refusing to extend that same courtesy.
And you certainly cannot mock a struggling small business while expecting that business to provide you with a stage.
We understand disappointment. We understand frustration. What we DON’T accept is verbal abuse or personal attacks directed at our team.
To the incredible local and touring musicians who treat our staff, our venue, and one another with respect: THANK YOU.
You are why we continue fighting for this place.
We will ALWAYS advocate for local music. But advocating for local music does not mean tolerating disrespect.
