As I often do when a community member wants to meet with me, I met them at Dotties Coffee Lounge this morning because it is a great gathering space. I enjoyed my iced Americano during a conversation that spanned multiple current topics with someone I have tremendous respect for. On my way out I spoke with a longtime friend who is putting another idea together and he shared thoughts with me. Bonus, he was wearing a Hatebreed band shirt, so we also talked about when they played here in Pittsfield. We have so many great caring people in this community and that’s what keeps me going.
To get to my point of this post, a huge thank you to Dottie’s Jess Rufo for creating, operating, loving, caring, and maintaining Pittsfield’s Living Room/coffee cafe destination for all of us to enjoy and benefit from. Also a thank you to Dottie’s staff/family members.
