I used to smoke w**d every day,
Now I’m old and gray,
Traded blunts for smoke and flame,
Chicken and ribs became my game.

Used to wake and bake all night,
Now I barbecue low and right,
Got sauce on my shirt instead of haze,
Smoking brisket through my older days.

This here’s for the losers and users,
Who kept me down, Confused Us,
Used me like a clown for laughs,
Turned their backs on my hardest path.

Back when I was broke and stressed,
Same people praying I’d never be blessed,
Now they watch while the smoke roll thick,
Hard work paid off and the moves got slick.

Now I put five carats in my girl’s ears,
Made it through the blood, sweat, and tears,
Buying villas down in Boca way,
Rolling off North Street like the Joker today.

Now they see me shining bright,
In a phat High Country late at night,
22-inch wheels with the chrome all clean,
BBQ smoke rolling while I cash in on my dream.

From late-night lows to a life so rich,
Went from being counted out to making that switch,
Now the pit stay hot and the tables stay full,
Built my life back up with hustle and pull.

Still got scars from the roads I crossed,
Still remember every friend I lost,
But I turned that pain into fire and fame,
Same old soul, just a different flame.
