We brewed a 15 gallon batch this morning and pitched a kveik strain of Roflevold Ward at over 90 degrees in one of the three. After about 6 hours, it’s already cranking away. One of them we pitched some Goodbelly and will Sour it for a few days before following up with a saison.

We won 1st place at the New England Home Brew Festival with our Belgian Dark Strong. If you remember, we brewed 3 different recipes and this was the one that was the most popular. We are very excited with the judges feedback and a score of 45 out of 50.

A "Stupid Simple Sour" taken off of Milk The Funk group page. We had to make it harder and make it with All grain pils instead of DME. We pitched GoodBelly blueberry for lacto and a saison yeast.

Interesting brew session. I wanted to brew my "Sahm Ti" recipe again, but didn't need 10 gallons of it. I adapted 2 other beer styles in one base recipe that is similar to the "Sahm Ti" and had a micro mash of the differences to add later in a second boil. The end result is 3 beers into 3 fermenters!
