Mother’s Day!!!!

A Special Lasagna for a special day. Grandma Lucia’s lasagna, my mom’s mom.

Grandma and also mother Lucia was originally from a town in the Roman countryside where artichoke was a very important ingredient in traditional cuisine and was included in many of the dishes made for parties and annisaries.

She always prepared this special lasagna for the family’s mother’s day.

This year I wanted to make his recipe and share with friends and customers of my restaurant the flavors of my childhood and the tradition of a part of Italy.

Italian cuisine is not one but an infinite variety of combinations of delicious ingredients.
