This Mother’s Day weekend was truly one for the books. One of our favorite moments was watching our namesake, Ellie, hand out these special gifts to the incredible mothers and grandmothers who dined with us.

At Ellie’s, family is at the heart of everything we do. We hope our garden sanctuary provided the perfect backdrop for your family to slow down and honor the women who make life so beautiful.

It truly takes a village… and last week, ours showed up in the most beautiful way. 🤍

To our staff, our family, our friends, friends of friends, and even kind faces we had never met before — thank you. So many of you stepped in, checked on us, encouraged us, lent a hand, prayed for us, and simply showed up. Watching this space come to life because of all of you has been incredibly emotional and humbling.

This week alone, we had the honor of serving nearly 1,000 guests… and every single table, every smile, every “congratulations,” every bit of patience and grace meant more than you know.

Our very first week as Ellie’s Café & Tea Room has surpassed anything I could have imagined. God has been so faithful, and we feel so supported, so loved, and so carried by this community.

Ellie’s isn’t just a restaurant — it’s family, it’s heart, it’s home. And it only exists because of you.

From the bottom of my heart… thank you for believing in us and walking into this new chapter with us. Plano, you have truly blessed us. 💚

We are officially transitioning from Chocolate Angel to Ellie’s Café & Tearoom. While our name is changing, our family, our team, and our location at High Street Antique Mall remain exactly the same.

We are busy preparing our new space and can't wait to welcome you back very soon.
