Position Summary

We’re hiring a Food Truck Operator & Line Cook who is professional, well-mannered, and enjoys working with people. This is a full-time role that includes cooking, taking orders, handling cash, cleaning, and driving the food truck.

Key Responsibilities
• Cook and prepare barbecue meats and sides to quality standards
• Greet and take customer orders in a friendly, respectful manner
• Operate POS system and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck and prep areas
• Drive the food truck and manage setup/breakdown (as needed)
• Assist with catering prep and occasional deliveries
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements
• Must be at least 26 years old (required to drive the food truck)
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
• Valid Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain before starting)
• No felony convictions (required for access to Fort Leavenworth)
• Prior experience in kitchens and customer service preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced, hot environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Dependable, courteous, and team-oriented
• Full-time availability, including some weekends

Compensation & Benefits
• Starting pay: $15/hour
• Pay increases to $18/hour after 90 days based on performance
• Tips included
• Free meals during shift
• Additional hours available through catering events
• Friendly, supportive team environment
