🌞 Flip Flops on The Dock — Summer Is Coming, and We’re Getting Ready!
As we gear up for another amazing season on the lake, Flip Flops on The Dock is excited to share two big updates: we’re hiring, and we’re getting ready to serve all your summer favorites from mid‑May through mid‑October!

Whether you’re looking for a great seasonal job or counting down the days until your first lobster roll of the year, here’s what’s happening:

Flip Flops on the Docks is officially opening this season at Valcour Island Marina— a brand‑new restaurant on the New York shore just west of Valcour Island. The marina features all‑new docks protected from waves, dockside power and water, clean restrooms, a full‑service gas dock, and a brand‑new on‑site restaurant backed by a great team.

It’s the perfect place to dock for the summer, with Valcour Island only a short ride away.

It’s Groundhog Day… and Flip Flops on the Docks is getting ready for its very first summer!
Whether the groundhog sees its shadow or not, we’re already dreaming of sunshine, lake breezes, and the kind of laid-back fun that only summer on the water can bring.

This will be our first season, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you to the docks. Cold drinks, good vibes, and a fresh new spot to kick back — it’s all coming soon.

So here’s to warmer days ahead and the beginning of something great. We’ll be ready when the season rolls in!

As we welcome a brand‑new year, all of us at Flip Flops on The Dock want to send our warmest wishes for a season filled with joy, good health, and fresh beginnings. Thank you for the excitement and support you’ve already shared with us — it means the world as we prepare for something truly special.

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be opening our doors for the very first time in late spring, right when the sunshine returns, the water warms, and the flip flops come back out of hiding. Soon, you’ll be able to enjoy good food, good company, and those perfect waterfront moments that make life feel a little lighter.

Here’s to a beautiful New Year and to the countdown toward our grand opening at Flip Flops on The Dock. We can’t wait to welcome you to the dock and start this journey together.

🌊Get ready, Lake Champlain 🌊— Flip Flops on The Dock is gearing up for a summer you won’t forget! We’re excited to share our vision for a season packed with great food, great drinks, and great vibes right on the water.

We’ll be serving fresh salads and stacked sandwiches, house‑smoked meats, and charbroiled burgers and chicken sandwiches. Plus, you can look forward to nightly specials all week long.

🦞Weekends get even better with steamed lobsters, clams, mussels, and oysters on the half shell.

🍸Our full‑service bar will be pouring frozen drinks, local favorites, and our signature showstopper: Captain John’s Rum Bucket.

🦞Craving lobster? We’ve got classic lobster rolls AND our massive foot‑long Lake Monster Lobster Roll — served Connecticut‑style or Maine‑style.

🍷You’ll also find local wines and beers, seafood baskets, hand‑cut fries, and what we proudly call the best BLT on the lake.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Families are welcome — we’ve built an awesome kids’ menu along with soups, salads, rolls and bowls, appetizers, sandwiches, and platters for every appetite.

We also love hearing from the community. If there’s something you’d like to see on the menu, let us know — your ideas might earn a spot.

Although we are leaving Captain Drifty behind, we will be drifting our way over to Flip Flops on The Dock with our menu! We will be serving our signature named sandwiches, salads, appetizers, rolls, and bowls, and adding many new items. We will also bring our fresh Maine weekend seafood specials along with additional items—get your crackers ready! Keep watch for our newly updated menu!
