Alright time to get a little vulnerable. I started this cake journey a few years ago when my youngest was going into preschool and then full time kindergarten. It was the perfect time to create something for myself. I have loved doing something besides being a mom and creating beautiful cakes for all of you.
My cute, youngest kiddo has since been diagnosed with Autism and we have been on that journey these part two years. She has struggled so much in school. Socially, academically and emotionally. We made the tough decision this summer as a family to pull her out of public school and homeschool her.
Because of that I am going back to mommy/teacher 24/7. I am so excited to learn and grow with her! She is going to do great things.
With that all said this is why I am taking a step back from baking. I would love to still bake when I can but for now I will be putting down that icing spatula and picking up some school books!
I will still continue to do a very limited amount of cakes. I appreciate all your support for my family and my business.
