One Year of Owning The Dairy Shoppe ❤️🍦
Today marks one year since we became the owners of The Dairy Shoppe, and what an incredible year it has been!!
In our first year, we have:
🍦 Stayed open year-round instead of closing for the winter.
☀️ Expanded our hours during the busy season.
🚚 Purchased another ice cream business and its equipment, allowing us to launch our own mobile ice cream trailer.
🥄 Started making our own premium homemade ice cream from scratch to serve in the trailer, while also offering pints and quarts for customers to take home.
🥤 Introduced our monthly specialty Flizzards.
🍬 Added several new toppings and mix-ins.
🍨 Introduced Ice Cream Nachos.
🧇 Added waffle cones and several new dip cone flavors.
🥪 Expanded our sandwich and wrap offerings.
🌽 Introduced new menu items, including our popular Cowboy Bites.
🍔 Brought back daily lunch specials Monday through Friday.
🔧 Invested in new kitchen equipment while making numerous equipment upgrades and repairs behind the scenes.
🍦 Installed our giant ice cream cone statue outside the shop.
🪑 Had all of our booths reupholstered.
📱 Continued growing our social media presence and connecting with our amazing customers.
❤️ Supported countless local schools, youth sports, fundraisers, and community organizations.
👏 Hired and trained a wonderful team of employees who help make The Dairy Shoppe what it is every day.
…these are a few of things we have accomplished and it’s just the beginning! 😉
Many of these ideas didn’t come from us alone—they came from our employees and from all of you. We truly appreciate your suggestions, feedback, and support. We are always listening and will continue doing everything we can to improve and grow within the space we have.
