It was Chef D who gave us our break into Tropicana and his new, Chelsea Five Gastropub almost 6 years ago. Chef Demetrios made a concerted effort to bring in and help support local businesses. We’ve been so grateful for the love! Today, I call Demetrios my friend and am so proud to see such a deserving person be recognized for his untiring dedication to excellence in food and beverages in Atlantic City.

Visit Chelsea Five and Chef Al Hughes because I gotta say, the restaurant is amazing (I’m a little partial, it’s true)! If you haven’t been there and you love food, it’s a must—everything is good. Save room for the locally made desserts and don’t forget to ask for a cup of Boardwalk Beans coffee!
