The Yellowstone Eats Local: From Our Table to Theirs

One of the things that makes Downtown Pocatello special is the growing community of locally owned businesses that are passionate about what they do. Recently, we had the opportunity to visit Braise•Zen Pizza, and it was outstanding.

Located inside The Martlet Brewery on Main Street, Braise•Zen serves authentic Neapolitan style, wood fired pizza made with traditional techniques and high quality ingredients. Their commitment to craftsmanship is evident from the first bite. Their dough is made with authentic Italian Caputo "00" flour, their pizzas are cooked at extremely high temperatures, and every pizza arrives hot, fresh, and incredibly flavorful.

What impressed us most was not just the food, but the experience. The pizzas came out remarkably fast, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The Caprese salad was fresh and vibrant, and everything we tried reflected the care that goes into their menu.

A special shout out to LJ and her team. They are talented, hardworking people who genuinely care about their guests, their food, and our community. Those are exactly the kinds of local businesses we love to support.

If you haven't been yet, make an evening of it. Grab a pizza from Braise•Zen, pair it with a beer from The Martlet (or not if you're not a beer drinker as there are other NA choices), enjoy the atmosphere, and support two great local businesses that help make Downtown Pocatello a destination worth visiting.

We’re thrilled to once again be providing the chili for the Fort Hall Replica Celebration and helping support one of the region’s most unique and important historical attractions.

At The Yellowstone Restaurant and our family of businesses, we believe strongly in supporting the local events, organizations, and activities that make our community special. From preserving local history to bringing families together, these events help tell the story of who we are and where we came from.

Thank you to the Ramshorn Rally for stopping by Downtown Pocatello and The Yellowstone Restaurant for lunch on your way to Sun Valley. We truly appreciated the opportunity to host you and loved seeing these incredible vintage Porsches lined up.

Thank you as well to everyone who came out to take a look at the cars and visit Downtown. We hoped you enjoyed it.

Just to clarify, this was simply a lunch stop during the rally and not an official car show organized by us or the Ramshorn Rally. They reached out a few weeks ago to reserve lunch with us and we thought it would be fun to let the community know they’d be passing through so those available during the day could stop by and enjoy seeing some truly unique vehicles.

Safe travels to the Ramshorn Rally group and thank you again for including Pocatello as part of your journey.

Thank you to the Chamber Champions for coming in to the 313.

We truly appreciate your continued support not only of our three concepts, but of so many wonderful locally owned businesses throughout our community. Strong local businesses and strong local relationships are what help keep Downtown Pocatello growing and thriving.

It was great seeing so many meaningful conversations, connections, and new relationships being built throughout the afternoon. We’re honored to have hosted the event and appreciate everyone who came out.

The Yellowstone Restaurant is proud to be participating in and supporting Legacy of Honor: A Night in the Hangar on June 6th, D Day, benefiting Idaho Honor Flight.

This incredible community event helps raise funds to send veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor and recognize the sacrifices they made for all of us.

The evening will feature guest speakers from Eastern Idaho who have participated in Honor Flight missions, stories from those experiences, dinner, fundraising efforts, and a chance for our community to come together in support of our veterans.

We’re honored to be involved and hope this event receives tremendous community support.

The Yellowstone Restaurant, The 313 Whiskey Bar & Speakeasy, and The Union Taproom and Restaurant will be closed Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

On this day, we pause to honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Thank you to all Veterans and military families for your service, sacrifice, and commitment to our nation.
