☕️🐐 SOMETIMES THE BEST COFFEE SHOPS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COFFEE. ❤️
Everybody, meet the Kind Cup Café at Meigs Intermediate School! 🥹☕️
Yesterday, we went on a little field trip, and let’s just say… we came back with full hearts and possibly a few new future employees. 😂❤️
This incredible coffee cart is operated by a group of 10 students in grades 3–5, alongside two amazing teachers who are teaching them everything from marketing and inventory to taking orders, handling money, and running a business!
But here’s where it gets REALLY good. 🥹
❤️ A student who struggled to count by 5s on paper is now counting money like a little CEO.
❤️ Children who once struggled to speak are now confidently having conversations.
❤️ Every student has a job they applied for, responsibilities they take seriously, and coworkers who step up when someone is absent.
They’re not just learning how to make coffee. They’re learning confidence, independence, teamwork, and life skills that will stay with them forever.
And the money they earn? It helps fund class trips and experiences! (Including a future trip to visit us at our new Mason location! 🐐)
Of course, we couldn’t show up empty-handed, so every little entrepreneur received their very own stuffed Calming Goat. ❤️
When it was time to leave, one sweet little girl said, “Don’t leave.” 🥹
Well, little lady, you’ve officially got yourself a whole herd of new friends. And we’re not going anywhere. ❤️
We even told these kiddos to come find us when they turn 15 because we’re always scouting future baristas! 😂☕️

The Kind Cup Café may be small, but what these kids are accomplishing is HUGE.
We’re proud to cheer on our newest coffee shop friends, and something tells us this is just the beginning of a pretty special friendship.
From one coffee crew to another… keep brewing big dreams, kiddos! ☕️🐐❤️
