Ever wonder where the name CanDo Café came from? ⚓

This photo was sent to us by Jackie’s dad from the U.S. Navy Seabee Memorial in Arlington, VA🇺🇸

Before the café, before the ranch, and before this dream became reality, Tanner served 8 years in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee (Combat Construction) before later being attached to Naval Special Warfare Development Group in Virginia Beach where Tanner and Jackie eventually met.

The Seabee motto is “Can Do.” It represents hard work, solving problems, serving others, and never backing down from a challenge. Those are the same values we strive to bring to our café every day by serving our community and supporting local small businesses.

To all the Seabees, and to everyone who lives with a “Can Do” attitude, thank you for the example you’ve set💪🏻

As a small thank-you to those who have served, we’re also proud to offer 10% off every day for all veterans, active-duty, and first responders.

I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday but some more samples, some flour and some salsa got dropped at CanDo Café yesterday!

I love going up there and hanging out, the conversation is always amazing. Local vendors, the atmosphere is peaceful and inviting. If you need a space to just do some work, have some good coffee or a refreshing drink things the place to go ❤️
