Innovation Brew Works is a café and brewery located right outside the Cal Poly Pomona campus at the Center for Training, Technology, and Incubation (CTTI) in Innovation Village. Innovation Brew Works also serves as a learn-by-doing brewery laboratory for students. Echoing the learn-by-doing philosophy of Cal Poly Pomona and corresponding with the brewery's official tagline "Crafting an Ed
ucation," students acquire hands-on experiences with brewing and brewpub operations. Students are exposed to applied propagation of custom yeast strains, the nitrogenation and carbonation process, and the development of unique hop and malt blends. CRAFT BEER
Innovation Brew Works offers a variety of beer, which are all named after prominent figures of the university and the city of Pomona. All beers brewed at Innovation Brew Works contain Cal Poly Pomona barley grown at Spadra Ranch, an off-campus plot of land used by the College of Agriculture near Pomona Boulevard and Temple Avenue. In addition, all the oranges used for the beers are grown on the university campus. To fulfill our sustainable responsibilities, all the spent grain (the leftover malt and adjuncts after the mash has extracted most of the sugars, proteins, and nutrients) is fed to the cows at Cal Poly Pomona. Products produced by Innovation Brew Works will eventually be sold on campus at the Collins College of Hospitality, Farm Store, Kellogg West, and Round Table Pizza. Innovation Brew Works also offers delicious beverages from local brewing neighbors including Dale Bros. Brewery of Upland, Claremont Craft Ales of Claremont, and Ritual Brewing Co. FOOD
Customers can build their own personal pizza by selecting their sauce, cheese, meat, and veggies. We also serve breakfast, gourmet salads, fresh sandwiches, and our signature personal pizzas. All meals are created right in front of the customer.
