Pompano Beach has been hiding this from you 🌴 on purpose.
Revelry feels like walking into your coolest aunt’s living room, if she also owned a VHS collection and a full bar. We landed on a Saturday with a live band, swing and rockabilly rocking all night, and the entire place was dancing. So much fun, so rad, we couldn’t believe this place existed.
The drinks matched the whole look and feel of the place: moody, playful, a little unexpected. We started with the Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned 🥃, a classic done right, then the Serpentarius, gin, cucumber, lychee, topped with prosecco, and that one stole the night. We thought that was the highlight.
Then the food came out and we nearly lost it. The wagyu skewer and the swordfish skewer, both served on crostini with chimichurri and horseradish aioli, might be the best thing on a stick we’ve had in a very long time. Honestly, we could eat four plates of either one for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and still want more. The hummus board was the perfect way to keep it light while we watched all the incredibly talented swing dancers work the floor.
