Attention LA Lobsters family: It has been an honor to serve everyone the highest quality crawfish for the past 13 years. We recently decided to turn over the reigns of the boiling stand to T-Mels seafood so we can focus on crawfish production. Don’t worry, you will still be buying the crawfish we produce. Even better news, they will be open 6 days a week instead of weekends only. They will also offer shrimp and crabs, which I know many of you have asked for.

Well, I really wish I had better news but we have decided to not open the boiling stand this season. The drought has proven to have had a worse impact on our crawfish population than we anticipated. We simply cannot catch enough to justify opening up and need to leave plenty crawfish to repopulate for next season. Yes, we could buy crawfish from wholesalers but they have a lot in common with a box of chocolates…. You never know what you’re going to get!! We take pride in growing, harvesting and boiling the best quality crawfish and refuse to bend our standards. We aren’t going anywhere, we’ll be back next season!

Hello LA Lob family and friends!! As I’m sure most of you have heard by now, the drought we experienced during the summer and fall has proven to have had a devastating impact on the crawfish. We just got underway at our ponds and are seeing signs that we avoided the worst of it but it is still going to be a delay in harvesting a sufficient amount. Hopefully we will be opening in a couple weeks but it will not be the usual Super Bowl weekend. Stay tuned for updates!! Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

Crawfish season is just around the corner!! Just want to let you guys see some of the cool sights we get to see in the offseason. These really are some amazing creatures. I just came across this female that just came out of her burrow carrying between 100-200 babies tucked under her tail crossing the road into the pond. Look forward to seeing everyone in February!!
