El Refu 4 has permanently closed after a 65% sales drop following an illness investigation involving nearly 16,000 tacos delivered to the Golden Pass LNG work site.

10/06/2026

We will be closing permanently due to the recent situation that has impacted our team. Our business has been impacted profoundly and we believe closing our doors permanently is the right path forward. We deeply regret any distress or illness experienced by those affected, and we want to extend our sincere apologies to our loyal patrons who have stood by us over the years.
Thank you for the wonderful memories, the support, and the community we’ve shared.
