Today, our hearts are filled with emotion as we celebrate another anniversary of this family dream—Los Tortugos Seafood Market—which first opened its doors on Memorial Day in 2012.
This restaurant was born from the hard work, sacrifice, and love of José Cuevas and Violeta Cuevas, alongside the help of their daughter, Anna Carmona. Every corner holds stories, memories, and moments that have left an indelible mark on our lives.
Today, we especially remember José Cuevas—who is no longer physically with us—yet whose spirit remains present in every smile, every dish, and every person who walks through our doors. His passion, dedication, and love for this dream continue to guide us day after day.
Thank you to all our customers, friends, and family for standing by us throughout these years and for being a part of this story. We will continue to honor this family dream with the same affection and commitment with which it began.
