A little song, a little dance, a little pesto on your pants. It is lunch time at Frank's Pizza in Port Washington, where the zingers are as pungent and plentiful as the garlic. Although it serves arguably the best pizzeria food in town, there is more to Frank's than meets the eye or the palate.

Last week, a local institution, Frank's Pizza, closed its doors for the final time. In business since 1966, Frank's was one of the very first pizzerias in Port Washington. Named for its founder, Frank Colombo, the restaurant was passed down within the family and has been owned and operated by his daughter, Linda Colombo, in the most recent decades. Frank's was a home away from home for many locals and was an asset to the Port Washington community. Its delicious food and comforting atmosphere will be sorely missed! 🍕

Friday, December 3rd was our last day. Retirement is calling me..... I'm glad that the staff at Frank’s was able to fulfill all the latke orders for the holidays. Thank you for 55 years of being our customer and I will see you around town ❤️

We want to clear up any information that is out there with the following regarding our establishment. Frank's Pizza was supposed to close on December 31, but for reasons beyond my control, our last day was moved up to Sunday, November 21.

The staff had a very emotional day yesterday, and we have decided TOGETHER to stick it out until December 31, 2021. However, we feel that we can't let our residents down during the Holidays. So, starting Tuesday, November 23, we will be OPEN for EVERYTHING!
