Antique Kitchen Alumni Spotlight 🗣️❗️
Meet Amy Gray and her son, Austin, both fixtures in the Antique Kitchen dining room every Sunday morning, a tradition they've had for years. Having first come to the restaurant with her dad as a kid, Amy follows in his foot steps and takes the moment every week to bond with one of her most favorite people, her son.
“My first experience at Antique Kitchen was in
1972 .. a LONG time ago! My dad would take us kids on the weekends for the pancakes and flavored syrups."
For the last 34 years, Amy and Austin prefer to share our Cheese Omelette (extra cheese of course), a side of hashbrowns and depending on Austin’s mood, a pancake or side of toast. They like to keep their breakfast simple, which gives them more time to focus on each other.
When asked what are her favorite memories of the Antique Kitchen, Amy said,
“SO MANY. My kids have been coming to AK since they were weeks old.. they are both in their 30s now! I introduced my college roommates to AK back in the 80s. And, most birthdays have been spent at AK. When my kids were young we would bring them in for breakfast on their birthday before school!…
AK memories are family memories.”
-From our family to yours, we thank you Amy… and we’ll see you on Sunday.
