Thai Touch Cuisine was a small business ran by a grandmother who has dedicated her entire life to satisfy the bellies of everyone who has ever crossed her path. She was blessed with a supportive son to start her business with and soon after a granddaughter who unexpectedly joined them in the same path. Different locations of a restaurant or a food cart would pop up all around town over the years but the heart of Thai Touch was always grandma. In 2017, they landed a cozy spot over on the corner of Hawthorne and Maple street with her granddaughter to run the front. They worked together seven days a week to keep their dream alive but with the struggle of Covid-19 it was no walk in the park. With the safety regulations and multiple shut downs in the town, it was a struggle to keep the restaurant afloat. Unfortunately last Tuesday, Thai Touch and three other small businesses were tragically destroyed by an accidental fire and nothing was salvageable. This past week has been full of heartbreak, confusion, helplessness and loads of stress until we recently came to the realization that there is an entire community out there who grew a love for us just as we did them and are willing to support us. Donations won't bring back what was destroyed in the fire but it would at least help us back on our feet. Funds will also help potentially open up our business again in the near future and would continue to build relationships with everyone who's fallen in love with grandma's food and satisfy bellies again!
