No... Not Pink lemonade. Lately it's our staff drink. One of the best rose we have ever had. Vincent Rose : Crisp, dry Pinot Gris from Willamette valley.
You gotta check this beauty.

So we just changed the menu but more importantly we are having an election in Turkey on Sunday. So here is what I will do for my portion. If we kick out the fake Sultan I will be providing %20 discount on everything on next Wednesday. Also I won't be working and drink this bottle of prosecco with our guests all night. Finger crossed 🤞

Hi 

As many of you know it was seriously devastating to see the city I was born , raised flattened and hear people dying all over the region including my uncle. I was pretty hopeless and depressed for couple days. By today death toll hits  35.000 which is undescribable devastation. 

I m still not ok which is normal but can't be more appreciated and thankful for your support. There is no possibility to thank each of you since I got a hard rain of donations, messages and prayers in last  few days. 

But I want to say a huge thank you to Khaled of . Not only after the earthquake, whenever I needed help, support, talk ... You were always there without any hesitation. Thank you million times for treating me like a brother. Your fundraiser seriously gave me hope and courage. Love you. 

Iman of . Thank you so much for you hard work and smiling face . There is no way to make  this happen without you and your friends. You have a golden heart.

my wife. Thank you so much for being there for me and try to keep me calm.

I don't think I can fly to Antakya for a bit since there is almost nothing remain besides my million memories. I will be in Istanbul where my family had to move by yesterday.

While I m gone we will have a smaller menu And Lokanta will operate Thursday -sunday 5-9

That is a picture of my hometown Antakya.

20 + cities in Turkey and Syria got hit by 7.8 earthquake this morning.

This is the worst earthquake in last 500 years who kills over 4000 people currently.

My mom, sister and grandma made it out before the second earthquake hits. I still have relatives and friends that i couldn't get any news from them in last 10 hours .

Airports, government hospitals, fire rescue buildings are all gone. Cracks on freeways.

We need blankets, tents, clean water, food, hygiene products, medicine, doctors, medical staff and rescue teams .

Beet tarator is back with pistachios , pacific cod wrapped in grape leaves, garlic labne with fresh dill +sun dried tomatoes, marinated beef wrapped in lavash, Fava topped with lemon infused red onions, Slow cooked+ warm served Organic kale+ collards, broccoli, spinach topped with yogurt.many more.

New wines, new cocktails, same crew , same place

Let's talk about cilingir sofrasi( key master's table) Those are the pictures of me from different cities while drinking Raki. Friends, family, random people... Doesn't matter who I was drinking with.

I have seen people eating food and drinking cola zero while parked at Fred Meyer's parking lot. I wasn't able to put the things together. " Why people are eating canned food and drinking cola zero while they are parked .

Let's not do that . Life is not Long. Call your friends. Lets talk about some gossips, how much you hate your boss, how much you talk about Kaiser Permanente health insurance, how much you love eating bagels I'm the morning, how many times you change your flat tire a week.

Here is a 15 years old picture of me with a bebe ( baby) boy 20 cl raki. Having fun with my friends, eating meze.
The Only thing I like in winter is Christmas. Makes me feel like home. Vacation, family, friend times. Stockings, white elephant, eggnogs, nice wine , Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Nat king Cole.

What we got in here from new menu ?
Havuc tarator, Cevizli ezme, Atom meze, Sicak ot, Irmik helva..

We got the inspiration mostly from Izmir when we create the menu and pretty happy about it. Now we got carrots, shrimps, collard greens -Kale, Labne with sun dried peppers, semolina halva, yogurt marinated chicken, Fish cakes, Fava with lemon infused red onions.. Seriously it is a pleasure to prep our food. We enjoy making those dishes

Ask for a shot green label raki which is my favorite 😉
