Of course the Tin Shed loves their dogs! We’ve got doggie bowls and doggie bandanas… we often host doggie adoption events… not to mention all the dog-inspired dishes on our menu, like the Good Dog and the Stay… but let us not overlook our kitty cats!! Katelynn and “Mama B” Brandi, a couple feline friendlies, both of them have been here long enough to have earned a loyal following: employees and guests alike! We love them and appreciate everything they do for us… and for you! Please vote Tin Shed in Willamette Week’s “best of Portland” poll: we were nominated as “best brunch spot” and “best Bloody Mary.” Please and thanks! Bop.wweek.com

It’s time to go visit the most charming outdoor brunch spot in the city, the Tin Shed Garden Cafe! Over the past couple weeks we’ve worked hard, getting it ready for the season, importing scores of charming pots, planters, and vegetation; building new structures and painting facades to accentuate the charm and functionality of the space. Our hope is that you’ll come see these changes for yourself! In the meantime, please cast your vote for Tin Shed as Portland’s “best brunch spot,” and “best Bloody Mary,” by visiting bop.wweek.com. We take great pride in offering our guests a complete package: exceptional hospitality, food, beverage, service, friendliness and charm. Thank you ❤️

The Tin Shed is for lovers. Lovers like Sean and his pet yam, Gertrude. Sean is so proud. We love Sean, and we especially appreciate Sean’s attention to quality as our most senior prep cook… we couldn’t do this nearly as excellently without him, and without the almost 30 employees here that bring it every single day. Please vote Tin Shed in Willamette Week’s “best of Portland” poll. We are a finalist for “best brunch spot” and “best Bloody Mary.”

Every so often we run into some old friend on the street… the conversation turns toward Tin Shed haps… and the friend says, “I used to dine there all the time, but I can’t handle the crazy wait.” To which we respond, “We DO take reservations… just make a reservation!” Which becomes, in essence, a ‘reservation revelation’ (not an industry term… not yet anyway…). The point is, I’m not sure HOW to get the word out to these old friends, except with all available resources. WE TAKE RESERVATIONS. We also accept walk-ins. We’re inclusive! Come dine with us. Peace out.

Bryan, much like the rest of us at Tin Shed, has got an UNCONTROLLABLE URGE to serve the community. That’s likely why we’ve been nominated as finalists in Willamette Week’s “Best of Portland” for “best brunch spot.” Bryan also makes a darn-tootin good Bloody Mary, which we’ve also been nominated as finalist. If you love Tin Shed, please hop on bop.wweek.com and VOTE for us, it would be an incredible honor to represent Portland like that, please and thanks ❤️

The Tin Shed has once again been fortunate enough to have been nominated for Willamette Week’s “Best of Portland” (an incredible honor). It’s thanks to people like Ashley, Veronika (recently departed), and the rest of our amazing staff, all of whom bring this infectious energy to their tasks every single day. Their co-workers feel this energy. I know many of our guests feel it. If you feel it, please vote for us, we’d love the affirmation! We actually qualified for two categories this year: Best Brunch Spot and Best Bloody Mary. Please vote and thank you for doing so! ❤️ visit bop.wweek.com/food/best-brunch-spot and bop.wweek.com/drink/best-bloody-mary

Almost 21 years ago, two complete strangers at the Tin Shed, Maura and Keith, both waiting for a table, were asked if they would care to sit together at a table (as opposed to sitting alone by themselves). They both said yes. Three years later they exchanged vows. That was 18 years ago today. This post is a tribute to Keith and Maura Brown on their wedding anniversary, and a testament to the possibility that something wonderful could happen on any given day. Thank you Maura and Keith for keeping the Tin Shed in your narrative, and for honoring us each year on your anniversary. I’m so happy to have spent time chatting with you today, enjoy the rest of your day ❤️
