It started on Burnside. 2011. Chef Hiro Ikegaya’s opened Mirakutei
and now two of his young chefs, brothers Job and Nico, have continued to build on that legacy.

Mirakutei was built on the skill and vision of Chef Hiro. Now, in 2026, you can still experience that legacy in a renewed space and with same level of ex*****on.

Portland, we’ve been here and we’re here to stay.

Fresh bluefin tuna has just arrived at Mirakutei, sourced straight from Baja California, Mexico. 🇲🇽 Enjoy this weekend it in three distinct cuts:
~ The rich and buttery Otoro (fatty belly)
~ The well-balanced Chutoro (medium-fat belly)
~ The lean, flavorful Akami (red loin)
