we are so excited to be included in the 25 best restaurants in portland!
we have had so many changes and shifts over the past year, taking several scary leaps into the unknown. standing nearly on the other side of all the changes and it feels SO good. our services are focused, much more refined, and our servers are able to shine and provide the hospitality we are always striving for.
we are forever grateful for our incredible team that can adapt and support each other through the roller coaster of this industry ❤️ 🍕

immigrants and those experiencing food insecurity.

hi everyone,
last night our woodshed was set on fire, thankfully the fire department was able to put it out before any serious damage was done to the apartments next door or the restaurant itself. unfortunately, we had just received a wood delivery two days prior so it was completely full and we are now unable to use any of it due to the chemicals used to stop the fire, resulting in a total loss.
financial impact aside this has been a real blow to us, it’s one more instance in a long line of tough circumstances we’ve been dealing with here over the last month including multiple large and expensive equipment repairs, slow business/early closures and consistent vandalism. we do want to recognize that there are a lot of horrible things happening in the world and we are very fortunate that this wasn’t worse but it has been really hard over here and this one feels different, it feels personal and has left us feeling totally defeated.
we love our community and love cooking for you all every day and are really just asking for your support in the coming days. show up, sell us out 🖤
at this moment we aren’t sure when we will be able to open back up but will keep you all posted as we know, thank you all for your support and love 🫶🏻
