It’s with gratitude and heavy hearts that we’re closing the doors of The Danforth. We are so grateful to Portland for welcoming us. We are honored to have been a small part of such an amazing community; you have supported and encouraged us, shown us true hospitality and kindness.
To our incredible team, you are the heart of Danni’s, bringing life, joy, and talent to everything you do. Your hard work and passion are nothing short of inspirational. We’re lucky to know and work with you, and we will sing your praises at every opportunity.
We love and believe in everything we’ve done. The unfortunate reality is that we have been unable to find a path that would sustain the business financially and ensure its future. Our priority during this transition is supporting our teams with financial provisions in the short term, and beyond that, helping them to secure future employment.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a drink, meal, or just to say hi over the last year.
We will be open for service this coming week and we’ll have a closing night party next Saturday, 9.23 with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit an industry-facing non profit, currently being decided in collaboration with our full staff. We hope that those who have enjoyed The Danforth are able to stop by through the week ahead to help us say farewell and to raise a glass to our amazing team.
