We miss our lunch crowd and our soccer friends so we decided to
re open lunch on the weekends, for now, in preparation for the
Fifa soccer world cup .

We want to take a moment to celebrate our co-founder
Gino Schettini on what would have been his Birthday today. This is a great photo that pre dates Piazza Italia, but we found it appropriate to share it as it was taken when we helped the crew of Il Fornaio while short staffed. The space has been taken over for years now by Elephants delicatessen, which recently had a devastating fire. We hope the city will shift their focus back to helping the few small businesses that still exist like they used to back in the days this photo was taken. We were a community that helped each other prosper and our entrepreneur father would want nothing more than for the city he immigrated to and loved to go back to what it was.

This week February 14th-15th we will be open for lunch! Doors open at 11:30am-2:00pm both days. Regular dinner service hours❤️ Call to reserve, only a few walk in tables available!

Remembering Co-founder of
Piazza Italia today. Today marks 18 years since his passing and thanks to our wonderful customers, who he always treated like family, we are still here today. Now more than ever, there is the need for human connection, to sit and share a meal no matter our differences. That's what Gino Schettini was all about.
We invite you today to call a friend, family member or loved one and take them out, invite them in your home and connect with them. We raise a glass and toast to all the amazing people we lost along the way today and hope you do the same.

Tomorrow, Monday 3/10, we say goodbye to a pillar of our Piazza community. Giovanni, our dear friend and employee of 17 years is hanging up his apron at the end of the night and starting his new chapter.
We are so happy for the opportunity he came across and excited for his next adventure! Help us celebrate him by stopping by to see him tomorrow or leaving a comment below. So many memories growing up together at Piazza, we will miss our brother and partner in crime. Best of luck Giovanni!
