We are Black Rabbit Service Co. We specialize in the sale, installation and repair of all coffee brewing and dispense systems, from espresso to cold brew.

What’s the story? Black Rabbit Service Co. is the brainchild of Alex Lambert and Double J (Jason Johnson). Between the two of us, we have a combined 40 years of experience in the specialty coffee industry and 20 years experience as coffee technicians. We each spent over 10 years at Stumptown Coffee Roasters building one of the most comprehensive service programs in the country. Through consulting,

installing and servicing, we have helped open thousands of coffee houses, restaurants and fine hotels across the US, and kept the coffee flowing by offering proper maintenance programs too. We have taken on more than 20 apprentices and trained some of the finest technicians in the field today, a few of whom have gone on to start tech programs elsewhere. Both of us have traveled extensively (both domestically and internationally) to visit equipment manufacturers, and coffee producers to share insight and perspective on our trade. We have been in on the bleeding edge of testing almost every hot new piece of equipment that has made it to market in the last 10 years. After a decade at Stumptown, we got excited about the idea of spreading our wealth of coffee knowledge, equipment expertise, and general professionalism with the many other fine coffee professionals in the City of Roses, and here we are, ready to help you with anything you might need in the realm of specialty coffee. We can consult on your new layout, recommend just the right piece of equipment, or solve any technical issue you may have. We sell, install, repair and maintain several of the most respected brands of coffee equipment in the world, and have good long lasting relationships with many of these suppliers.
