December 2025 marks a significant milestone for Takahashi, celebrating 40 years since its inception. In December 1985, Mr. Takahashi established a Japanese restaurant in SE Portland, creating a culinary landmark. Takahashi has consistently provided employment opportunities for community members across generations. From December 1985 to December 2016, Seiji and Ruth Takahashi were the proprietors. Kao and Suni Saechao assumed ownership in 2017 and continue to lead the establishment. We extend our sincere gratitude to our loyal customers, whose unwavering support has enabled us to thrive.
