Burgers + Barolo = A Perfect
Summer Afternoon
Sommelier Michael Garofola of Genoa is partnering up with champagne and wine expert David Speer of Ambonnay for an exciting “Burgers and Barolo” event.

Time: 3pm-6pm
Location: Atrium of the Olympic Mills Building at 107 SE Washington St.
One of our favorites wine varieties, Nebbiolo, a thin skinned, finicky grape, is responsible for some of Italy's move revered wines. The names Barolo and Barbaresco are certainly the most famous of wine zones for the Nebbiolo grape, but there are others such as Valtellina, Alto Piedmonte, and Vallee d'Aosta where people have made fine Nebbioli for centuries. Join us exploring all of these noble regions on Sunday, August 25th.
With outdoor space and some summer sun, the party will feature six exquisite wines from Genoa's cellar. Come sample a bottle of Cappellano 2006 "Pie Rupestris" we've been waiting to open until now! Plus, Dulce, of Accanto, will be cooking a delicious burger.
