The Beer Hub isn’t a sports bar.

But when one owner grew up in Australia and the others grew up in the USA, there are a few matches you just have to show.

This Friday we’re putting national pride on the line as USA takes on Australia in the World Cup.

We’ll be pouring some country-themed beer specials, talking a little trash, and solving international disputes one pint at a time.

I first tried Nonesuch River’s Red Ale in Michael’s garage, before they had a brewery and honestly before they may have even had a name.

Since those early days, we’ve watched Nonesuch River Brewing grow into one of Maine’s great success stories. They’ve been incredible partners to our beer tours and to the Beer Hub, and we’re proud to have their support.

The beer is consistently excellent, the food is worth the trip on its own, and their staff always make you feel welcome. And then there’s Shea, one of those people who seems to be loved by everyone she meets. We sure do.
