Iโ€™ve been quiet! But the markets have been anything but ๐Ÿ˜‡ Strawberry season has been upon us for a while now with yummy treats like Strawberry-Rhubarb Cobbler, Strawberry Rhubarb Cheesecake as special Pastries of the Week and in my regular line-up: ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฐ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐…๐ข๐ง๐š๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ (flourless French triangle with browned butter and vanilla bean) and ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฐ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐•๐š๐ง๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š ๐’๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ÿ“

Hi friends! Iโ€™m going to introduce a new face! Meet Bella โœจ I am beyond excited to have her represent Heim at the Thursday markets in Medford! We worked together at a pop up at in March and instantly I knew sheโ€™s a gem ๐Ÿ’Ž
Sheโ€™ll take care of you this week and next week youโ€™ll see little olโ€™ me again before she takes over some more!

I love being a part of our local food system so when Iโ€™m not here I spend my days as the Procurement and Nutrition Coordinator for Rogue Valley Farm to School or at The Sideyard Farm and Kitchen in Phoenix!โ€

I did want to alert you on a collab I have with this Sunday, May 10th, ๐Œ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซโ€™๐ฌ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ!! My Portland farmer friend and chef Stacey and I will be collaborating monthly in her brick&mortar in Phoenix to bring you a weekend Pastry Pop-Up! Woop woop!

Her team will be slinging limited pastries from moi and breakfast bevvys at her ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ญ ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐ž at on ๐’๐ฎ๐ง๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ง๐ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก, ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐š๐ฆ-๐Ÿ๐ฉ๐ฆ. There will be fresh baked Blueberry-Lavender Muffins, Savory Scones, Flourless Almond Cake with Blackberry Compote and Sweet&Salty Corn Cookies.

On ๐’๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–๐ญ๐ก ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก, Iโ€™ll be there myself, with my full line-up! Oh, and that event will run from ๐Ÿ—๐š๐ฆ ๐ญ๐จ ๐Ÿ๐ฉ๐ฆ or until sold out. There will be delicious coffee and breakfast beverages for sale as well during that time.
One really cool thing: Iโ€™ll have the oven running and if thereโ€™s a seat and you have time, let me heat up my (recommended) pastry for you to sit down and enjoy in the space with a bevvy! Iโ€™ll also be offering my Vanilla Whipped Cream as a recommended side for some of the pastries!

๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ž๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐š๐ ๐š๐ข๐ง ๐ง๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ค, ๐ฐ๐จ๐จ๐ฉ ๐ฐ๐จ๐จ๐ฉ! Iโ€™m not going to lie, Iโ€™ve had a challenging winter and thatโ€™s why you havenโ€™t hear from me on the webz. Iโ€™m shifting things a tad and I wonโ€™t be posting as much anymore BUT I will let you know if Iโ€™m skipping a market, if Iโ€™m popping up somewhere special (I canโ€™t wait to share this awesome collab with yโ€™all in the near future!) and Iโ€™ll definitely still post pretty photos of my delectable treats off and on.

The temps are mild and my freezer is full of blackberries from last summer so Iโ€™m starting out with something โ€˜berryโ€™ fruity.
$1 of every Pastry of the Week sale continues to go into a fund that I use to make a donation at the end of the year. The past couple years $1000 annually have gone to โœจ
